I have the same Winsor_Newton Cotman set that I bought for the same reason... but it takes so long to use up all the paint.... I've purchased a couple travel palettes from Blick in the US that look perfect in sized and I can set up a couple new palettes of colour to suit my needs. They were only about $4 each and a friend is travelling to the US and will pick them up for me.... In my palett...Love your painting, quite wonderful!

In my palette are Windsor Lemon, Scarlet Lake, Cerulean Blue, French Ultramarine, Burnt Sienna, Raw Sienna, New Gamboge, Permanent Rose, Winsor Blue (Red Shade), Winsor Blue (Green Shade) Winsor Green, Payne’s Grey. I have both Full and Half pans in a range of boxes including your nice lightweight Cotman Sketcher’s box.

While I am trying to not change my colours for the next six months, I am using all the different boxes to figure out what set-up I like best - because I do have an addiction to fussing with my sketching kit set-up(s)!Carolhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16533664258457627423noreply@blogger.com
